Poems about life
Im Rahmen des Englischunterrichts schrieben die Schülerinnen und Schüler der 7bWRG-Klasse auf Englisch Gedichte zum Thema „Life“. In diesen geht es um die „Ups and Downs of life“, aber immer mit einem grundsätzlich lebensbejahenden Ton. Diese durchaus tiefgründigen und zum Nachdenken anregenden Gedichte sind hier auf der Homepage zu lesen. Vielleicht genau das, was wir brauchen in diesen schwierigen Zeiten: Food for thought.

Life’s fate

Life can be hard
You can easily be scarred
But don't fall apart

In times of dark
Think of the spark
That makes you keep going
And you'll be growing

Take that dive
And you'll thrive
Take every loss
like a boss

After all one can say
After a wreck you'll reach the bay

Hard Times

People dying everywhere,
I don’t know what to do
At the moment, life’s unfair
Do you feel it too?

So many memories I’ll never make
People I will never face
Chances I can never take
Lots of smiles I have to fake

But we should always keep in mind
That this won’t last forever
There’s always something good to find
And times will soon get better

I want to stop the pain
I’m hoping for a change,
Appreciating little things
Trying to unfold our wings

I was dead inside,
but I had you,
you saved me,
from the things I went through.
I had you.

Now I´m sitting here,
having you in my arm,
I´m happy,
having no more harm.

the fear to lose you.

Waves of life

There are days when you feel sorry,
and there are days of glory.
Always remember there is no need to worry,
because it’s never the end of the story.
Even in darkness there is shine,
so don´t hang your head about things you can´t design.
Follow your line,
and I promise it will be your time.
Celebrate your good and your bad sides,
and create your own vibes.
And you will sweep people away like riptides.

Life is complicated,
there will always be problems.
Friendship is an omnipresent development,
The worst thing is just non-involvement.
People I loved,
have come and gone.
but the world never stopped,
and we all carried on.

We used to visit our grandparents, 
not thinking about any consequences.
We used to go to restaurants,
not thinking about a disease.
And we used to explore countries far away,
not thinking about being in quarantine.

But that was taken away from us, 
normality has been taken away from us.

A good life is a song
